Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I bet they're out of control in cost but I'll be watching. Brought my 10 year old to Taylor swift a few months back and was super glad I did. She loved it, and I bet lady Gaga puts on a great show.... and you know it will only be an hour and a half at most!HesCalledDyer said:

Not a big fan of Lady Gaga but I was pleasantly surprised . Nothing to in your face, no wardrobe malfunctions. and I think she actually was singing the words not lip-synced. kind of refreshing . Not bad.
But now they can go back to rock music.
They've had,Bruce Springsteen, The Who, The Rolling Stones, U2.
and now Hall of Famers hell yes it should be Pearl Jam's turn now..Post edited by RYME on0 -
She did indeed actually sing instead of lip synching. Definitely a nice break from the norm.
But I don't know that I ever want to see Pearl Jam at the Super Bowl halftime show. I can't imagine them with a field full of in-sync dancers, a bunch of silly props, fireworks & explosions, and all that. That kind of stuff works for Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Madonna, Bon Jovi, hell even Prince. Not for Pearl Jam.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250 -
Duly noted but if The Who can pull it off, maybe Pearl Jam could too. But you're right it's probably not on their bucket list.HesCalledDyer said:She did indeed actually sing instead of lip synching. Definitely a nice break from the norm.

I will give her credit for actually singing. But all of those songs and her voice do not sound good to me.Pittsburgh 2013

Its just nice that Beyonce had nothing to do with the game whatsoever.
Glad Gaga didnt lipsynch, didnt try to make a statement outside of her usual lyrics, and didn't do anything outrageous. Just music. How it should be for the Super BowlPost edited by cp3iverson on0 -
I was kinda hoping Beyonce was gonna come on for Telephone.

My buddy who I always watch the Super Bowl with, we always mute it and put on another music. Usually some kind of classic album - sometimes it spills over into the game. Last night we put on Bob Marley's Bus to Babylon.www.RLMcDaniel.com
