I'm sure I'm in the minority but I had no interest at all in going to it. I'll wait for some "normal" shows.

I can see that if you're only a Pearl Jam fan...
but the other groups that are going in were among my faves growing up too!!
I saw ELO, Yes and even Journey several times in my teen years...
so this will be a FUN show for me!!
    have a blast, man!
    I LOVE MUSIC.

See you all in the Big Apple.

    SWEET...
Party in the MERCH LINE!!!
FYI - I went to the Rock Hall ceremony last year for Cheap Trick and am going this year. There was ZERO Rock and Rock Hall of Fame merchandise anywhere to be found in Barclay's Center. Therefore, I had to purchase the program, poster with the bands listed and a shirt with the band names through the Rock Hall website. The program is really nice, but the poster and program were meh. Looks like they spent 30 seconds designing each. Hope PJ does their own merch.

    I got a pair in sec 19, row 10.

This is surreal for me. Way back in 1992, when I was 14 years old, I saw Eddie & Mike on tv performing "Masters of War" at the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary show. It got me thinking, "could Pearl Jam someday be inducted in the RRHOF?". I did some quick math and realized they would be eligible in 2017. I decided at that moment, that even though I would be old as fuck (40) in 2017, I would make sure I am in the building to see my favorite band get inducted into the hall of fame. It's amazing that all the promise they showed back then has been fully realized. I am so happy that I will be in that building on this special night. 25 years in the making.

Congratulations to the guys. They earned it. We always knew they would.

$150 total for each ticket, in the nosebleeds all the way across the arena (at least that's all that comes up for me right now)..no thanks. i'd be hard pressed to buy that ticket even for a full PJ show.
to everyone who's going, have fun!

I scored a pair for $85 on the CitiCard pre sale. So excited! I promised myself I'd be there if the boys got inducted and damnit I made it happen. I'll be in section 218 in the nosebleeds, hope to see many fellow PJ fans there in the rafters

I don't think those are the nose bleeds, though. The upper deck (Which there are nose bleeds are like $65 with charges or something. I think those mid level seats aren't going to be too bad.

good point. I've been to barclays many times. While 118 is on the other end of the arena, its not too high and it will sound great there.

You are in the minority, but so am I. This is a personal achievement for them and I'm happy for them. Seems like a friends and family type of event (but I get it is at the Barclays and they are selling tickets to fans).
