Rumors out there that headliners are Dave & Tim (Very strong as they just announced tour with no New England date but NY dates) and Eddie Vedder (Very Weak as going off Instagram photo from over the summer of Eddie with some big shot from the festival). Also rumored on under card are Trey Anastasio (SP?), Dispatch, Deer Tick and Monsters of Folk (Jim James of MMJ side project). Anyone else hear anything as I got my information from Bonnaroo forum so unsure how reliable?

    They ask Eddie every year to play from what I have read. I think there's a good shot he will play at some point, no clue if it will be this summer. Do you have a link to the Instagram post you referenced?

    I have the photo but don't know how to post it. If you google inforoo and click on music lounge, festivals and finally Newport folk festival you can see it. It's a photo of Eddie with George Wein aka "The Godfather of music festivals". I have no idea who George Wein is and was just reading the Instagram photo.
