PJ20 was my favorite sing-a-long but 4/29/16 to end Ten is my all time favorite.

^^^^ love the pitch change on the last "release me" from pj 20 / Verona? But man seeing that cap off ten let alone the clear emotion he showed...doesn't get much better

Yes. Me, too. I've been to "only" six shows so I guess I can't complain that much at this point.

Verona '06 and Philly II are the shows that seem to have unanimous agreeance from people that were in the crowd. And I can speak for Verona - wow.

Don't know the best, but my favourite was the opener at the O2 London in 2009.
Definitely the one I cried during the most if that helps make your mind up!

Absolutely, thought it was stunning, especially when the crowd went up an octave. Put me on the verge of tears but for some reason Corduroy was the one that tipped me over the edge that night. Grown men crying, what are we like :)

Milan was a good one. The version at PJ20 was good but not great. I don't think the venue or the crowd helped. Everything seemed really restrained in comparison to the usual European/South American carnage.

That's an interesting point. I stated earlier what it meant to me and it's the best version I've ever heard of it live. I think if there was a sweet Danny Clinch visual to go along with that version, people would appreciate it even more. To see how hard it was raining and how much lightning was really all around- it was really something you had to see to believe.

The 2/21/95 version from Osaka, Japan has a nice extended intro that creates some extra suspense and tension. Crowd erupts when Eddie finally comes in.

Its gotta be Kansas Just because the lightning strike took it to a deeper level.

My personal favorite probably isnt the best version. One show i was at in 98 they played it in darkness. Just five candles. Powerful. U finally saw the guys when the song picks up
  • Not sure which one show, but I'm sure it was in the 90's. If not, it wasn't during a post-Riot Act tour. Lol.

For shows I have attended, Indio '93 was excellente.

Speaking of slow songs to start the show off, I hope the multiple slow song starts of the 3 year LB tour is done with. It was cool when the right songs in right order were played, but it's times to put the format to bed.
