PJ should play Wrigley more often.

To be fair, if you took the word Wrigley out of the subject, it would still be accurate :)

Even though it'd be the closest venue for me to see them, I like the rarity of the event and the out of town crowd it brings. If it started feeling like a residency I wouldn't complain, but it'd be tough to repeatedly top themselves in that venue.

Yep, enough with Wrigley. Had an amazing time there this past August but it's time for somewhere different.

Wrigley's one of the happiest places on earth, I got it. And man, it'd be tough to make me happier in that stadium after PJ shows and the Cubs winning it all.

Tough to have a discussion when all we have to work off of is a link. :)

I agree that Wrigley is a magical place, and one of the last historical ballparks. We had an incredible time travelling there last summer. But if you replace "Wrigley" with the Gorge or Red Rocks, you have my full support!

Yes, venues where the band looks like ants to 90% of the crowd. Can't wait.

Bill Joel is now playing Wrigley for a 4th consecutive year. Would love PJ to do that too. But really, yeah I'd love a 2 or 3 show run at the UC or Allstate Arena.

Agreed. It seems the stadium shows are picking up in popularity so making an annual stop at Wrigley would be welcomed. Mixing in the UC and/or Allstate Arena would be awesome too.

Side note to the OP - nice to see Naperville represented on the forum. I live in Oswego.

I saw PJ there once, have no interest in doing it again. I'll watch the Cubs play baseball there every chance I can though, especially when the Jays are in town.
