For me it's Off He Goes. Holds true today for me the same way it did in 96.

I think everyone has one of those songs.
I was astounded that I got it in Quebec.

I've got many, but I guess the ones at the top of the lot are:
    Release
    I Am Mine
    Parting Ways
    Off He Goes

Thumbing My Way. Especially the live versions around 2006 where Ed goes an octave higher for the ending of the song.

2 songs can ruin a show for you? Quebec's show was great. My favourite of the tour.

My choice is a tie between Release and Indifference. I must have listened to these songs over a 1000 times each in my lifetime easily.

Should have known though I have read some people say this before. Sirens at Fenway 2 for example. I know this is not what this thread is about but I feel lucky that I do not have a song that I loath from these guys.

In My Tree and Present Tense. They're mine, in a personal sense.

As are All Those Yesterdays and In Hiding.

No wonder No Code & Yield are my favorites of this band's.

I think I may have to agree with Off He Goes.

It's a song that I didn't really listen to for a while when I started getting into PJ a few years back. But I remember hearing it one day with my iPod on shuffle and it blew me away. The lyrics speak to me and I've always loved the last line "he's off again".

The last line for some of us is very prophetic and haunting.

This is a tough one. If I had to pick one, it'd be Release. Amazing live experience with this song.

My others are Immortality, Present Tense and Faithfull. I don't think I ever tire of these.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Release, always has been and will be. For some reason I always cry during last kiss, drives me nuts as I cannot stand it of late, still bawl when the Lord takes her away

Release, for the sheer weight of it.
Off He Goes, for the simple clarity.
RVM, I just get so amped with anticipation waiting for that final onslaught of instruments (live).

Special mention goes to In My Tree (earlier version), my pupils dilate when I hear those drums.
