Not sure if anyone is aware of the....Best Buy has a weird deal right now (expires on 1/13). If you purchase the TOTD CD (for $16), they give you a code to redeem the Vinyl for Free. I just bought it (even though i already have the CD) and got a confirmation that the vinyl is on it's way!

    Got the CD in the mail yesterday. Trying to redeem vinyl code and keep getting an error message. Anyone else getting this too?

    I wonder if it is because the offer expired on the 13th? I got mine on the 12th and redeemed it immediately. Received shipping notice on the vinyl the next day.

    That would suck. I bought mine on the 6th but didnt receive it until Saturday

    I could definitely tell a difference, but maybe it's placebo. The purple one was MOV, 180 gram, 2 vinyl.. it really sounds fantastic. It sounds better than any Pearl Jam record I own, that's for damn sure. It's almost on the level of Into the Wild..

    I emailed the people running the promotion, saying that I ordered it on 1/9, got called out of town and didn't even get to it until 1/16. They actually had the gall to suggest that I return it to Target (yes, that's what they said) for a refund. In that same email, they said the promotion expired on 12/31. I emailed them a link to this thread, showing that people were still buying it and apparently even redeeming it up until the extended offer of 1/13.

    How in the heck can I return it when I already opened it AND the website was still active on 1/16?

    I tried calling them up to get an answer and the only outgoing message I got said the guy was out of the office and will return "in September."
