Portfolio dimensions

Just curious...I received a portfolio for my posters for christmas and the dimensions are 18 x 24. I know it is cutting it close but would anyone recommend that I get a larger one? Or do you think this one will be ok?
Thanks!

I have an 18 x 24 itoya portfolio that I got off Amazon a couple years ago - it's fine for the standard 18x24 posters. Have a nice week.

i love my bigger one but the 18x24 is ok... just need to handle it carefully because most prints take up the whole page

It's hard to find larger binders (there's a whole thread about the 24 x 36 portfolio replacement pages not being in stock) but I would go with the larger book if possible. I have found that the 18x24 book might leave edges of your posters right up against the edge of a page and vulnerable to getting damaged. I just wish the artists would stop making such giant prints. It would cost us all a lot less in storage and/or framing if the sizes were kept to something smaller (Texas 2000 by Ames bros
poster is a great example of perfect size in my opinion).
  • I just took 2 posters larger than that to be framed. Transformers was 20x26, and Lexington was 18.5x24 or 26, I believe.

yeah not sure why it seems the 24x36 has stopped being produced... i love mine
  • My wife tried to get me the 24x36 pages and they (Jerry's Artorama) said they might have some in by March. She got me some smaller pages and they clip into my 24x36 portfolio just fine. Now I need to relocate and swap some prints around to accommodate all of them.
