Strange you can't give it away in here. Try Facebook poster groups. It will probably move fast.

i had a friend looking but the paypal Friends and Family request worried them (they've since bought elsewhere)

why request that from someone who's not a friend or family?

If your friend is concerned, he/she can simply add an additional 3.5% to cover the seller's fee and everyone's happy.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

    true

but the concern was someone requesting friends and family right off the bat - which is pretty much saying - please waive your right to any sort of buyers protection on this $185 purchase

i get that people do it to save money - and most people are honest... but i've also seen issues

just seems to be getting more popular and i don't get why any buyer would agree to it without actually being a friend of the seller

    congrats on the sale wma

I only do it if the seller has a reputation. No positive reputation, no friends and family transaction.

    Great price on the Thomas.

I always just add the 3.5% and send it as goods and services. 3.5% on $165 would be about $6... Well worth it to me if I'm already spending near $200 anyway.
