Yet if everyone ignored the negative in the first place he would never of gotten any attention.

Back to the wonderful original post, it was very cool to see our local news cover this earlier.

Um, ignore the troll people. They thrive on attention.

Don't make this an asshole thread. Keep it a good one.

It is a good one. Sometimes, to focus on the positive, gotta call out the negative ;)
Hi Hedonist, I hope your husband is doing better. I haven't been around in a year maybe. I saw the article online about EV's generosity then it was on the local news, WTOP (radio station.) Awesome.

Hiya, cats! Thank you for asking - he's getting better all the time :)

I hope Ed's act (and those of so many others) inspire similar actions, even if never acknowledged. I read earlier about how George Michael was also quite generous in that sense.

    It's a beautiful thing, really.

I hope you're well and send you good holiday wishes.

We are going to need a lot more compassion like this in the world over the next 4 years. It aint coming from the government

Nor should it. Compassion isn't government's purpose.

The citizenry should be looking out for each other and that's exactly what happened here, which is awesome.
