A trip down memory lane - Spencer Gifts

I remember the days of walking into Spencer's looking for my favorite bands posters, gag gifts and plastic handcuffs. Went back in one recently for the first time in ages and saw they have a full bondage section. When did this transformation take place? Lol

I think that it was probably always there. We just weren't old enough to know.

I agree empty. Spencers and the CD store were my firsts stops growing up. I'm not easily offended unless I am with my kids.

I just don't enjoy Spencers anymore. Jokes over for me.

    Spencers had vinyl?

Or are you referring to vinyl clothing and undergarments?

I will just say that it was a misunderstanding of the word "massager" by a customer and the type of massager sold at Spencer Gifts.

Sounds like that Andrew Dice Clay bit about rubbing his neck, saying how sore it was, and asking his wife if she had that fake dick that he could use.

We did a test installation a few years ago in a Spencer's location and I was laughing my ass off at the stuff in there. This was not in the Spencer's I grew up going to -- they had some edgy stuff, but not the things I saw this time. I wish they had, would have been even more fun to visit that store.
