  • If you have not seen one or held one in your hands it would be hard for anyone to understand the quality. I checked out a Boston jersey and it was 100% wool, hand sewn, not made in the USA (sadly) but of amazing quality. They'll be around a lot longer than the $30 t-shirts...

Ya. Was excited to grab one at wrigley but when took out of the bag and felt the material...yikes. Like it was made out of the same material as the pennants. Stiff. Scratcy. No way I could wear it. Thought maybe frame it but passed on buying it

These are high quality materials and hand made - stiched on numbers, lettering, etc

the jersey market is right around this number

plus if they didn't up the quantity that they produced for fenway these would be selling for $200 plus on ebay

    Yes, definitely not a shirt.
This jersey is nicer than the authentic jerseys I own.
  • If not made in USA or another non slave labour country, that's way to expensive for an article of clothing. If it was made somewhere they gave a decent wage, I would pay. Pass... I know it's difficult to find things not made in China though.

I did buy one at Wrigley, but I regret it. Terrible material to wear. Honestly they should have just done a hockey jersey for the Blackhawks with Chicago.

According to this thread they are either amazing or unwearable lol

Didn't pick up a jersey in Boston. I do own the PJ detroit and ottawa hockey jerseys. They're awesome, wear em all the time! Probably should have picked up the other hockey one too, but oh well.

  • Definitely much different than a shirt. It's an authentic-styled throwback baseball jersey. That said--I don't know how anyone could bring themselves to wearing it in public.
  • I think they are great looking....maybe I am just to cheap lol.

  • I got a Boston jersey on eBay for around $100 a month after the shows.......

I have mixed feelings, it's a great souvenir, but idk how often I'll wear it.

As far as the jersey market goes, it's fairly priced for the quality of material.

    Still $140 bucks though.

I feel like if you live int hose cities and go to those games and are a fan of the Sox or the Cubs, this is awesome.

As a Yankee fan who went to Boston, its very nice, wouldn't be caught dead in it.

Spot on....... if I wasn't a Sox fan, I wouldn't have even entertained the thought.

Honestly, I was expecting / hoping for a PJ / Bruins jersey.

It might be cool to frame, but if you don't to baseball games not sure when you would actually wear it.

As for the hockey jerseys, never in public. But always around the house. Possibly to a hockey game. They help keep me warm in the winter, not sure how much those baseball ones would help with that.

    I would never buy one..

  • I got a Wrigley one just because I'd never been to a show that had a show specific jersey. Have a Quebec hockey jersey, and that thing is awesome, and no conflict of interest with my hockey team. The baseball jersey is rough so I have to wear an undershirt, but it's good quality, pretty warm, and I like it. Not sure how to clean wool, though, so I'll likely never wash it haha. Just my two cents.
