Wrigley Track Listing

The whole thing about the Wrigley shows is... now that I know something is in the works, the waiting is driving me mad. Having a bootleg to relive a show you've been at is awesome, but it doesn't hurt the memory of being there to not have it. Someone else suggested the "had to be there" stance, which is also pretty cool. Still, knowing the possibilities for what could be coming for us fans is pretty dang exciting. Right now, I'm imagining the "best of" track listing for the 3 shows. Ya know, if it were to wind up a 3 LP or movie. Here's the lineup as I saw it:

Disc 1 7/19/13
Side A
Release
Nothingman
Present Tense
Come Back
Corduroy
MYM

Side B
All the Way
SOLAT
Why Go
Unthought Known
Chloe/Crown
Porch

Disc 2 8/20/16
Side A
Low Light
Small Town
Last Exit
Lightning Bolt
Sad
Amongst the Waves
Light Years

Side B
I Got Shit
Masters of War
Inside Job
Go
Black
Alive

Disc 3 8/22/16
Side A
Better Man
Given to Fly
Immortality
Jeremy
Of the Earth
RVM

Side B
Man of the Hour
No Lip
Blood
Surrender
Yellow Ledbetter
I've Got a Feelin

Feel free to disagree. Hard to leave anything off, but I feel like this would all flow pretty well and captures some of the big moments and spirit of each of the shows.

It was an interesting show for sure, but if I am being honest there were some rather lackluster performances by a few band members......I was there and have a fan boot to confirm these statements.

I still don't understand why everyone thinks 2013 is going to be included.

Because they're doing something special with this. Why not include it as a CD throw-in or something? It makes the package they are putting together more appealing. And I'm sure they've heard the begging for that show to be released for the last 3 1/2 years.

I understand that, but people are talking like it's a sure thing that 2013 will be included. It's one thing to wish for it, another to expect it to be certain.

Yah I'd want to add Black Red Yellow on there as it was seminal moment with Dennis Rodman doing his part. On a completely selfish level I'd love to have Sonic Reducer on it, as it was my while whale for a very long time and I went spastic when they played it :)

I agree with I've got a Feeling. I didn't ever know I wanted to here that song so live until I heard them playing it. Was such a fun way to end the show(s). I had it suck in my head for months. I really want to here the soundboard of it :)

Ya it was a great surprise to end with that even though I already heard at Fenway night 1. Have you heard that version at least to hold you over?

Yah I've listened to the Boston one quite a few times now (as well at the studio version from the imported version of ten). I've also got audience recordings of the Wrigley shows but it's not quite the same.. The Boston one sounds amazing in soundboard quality.

Three "best of" records just to get something on vinyl would be something I wouldn't be interested in at all. A "best of" DVD/Blu Ray would be cool. Just give me the full shows on silver pressed CDs and I'm good.

2013 probably will not be included in the DVD portion due to the fact that all the band members wore the same clothes both nights this year.

Live At The Gorge included shows from 2005 and 2006, so why not include the 2013 and 2016 Wrigley shows in a similar cd box?
A vinyl release of one of the shows could be a vault release in the future

I don't want to speak for anyone, but I think the 'best of' stuff was just meant for if vinyl gets released (and he had too many songs listed for vinyl sides, but that's another story). Putting these 3 full shows on vinyl would be unrealistic. It would probably be 15-20 vinyls.

I think everyone expects the shows will be released in full on CD/MP3 at minimum.
