    The highlights from his 60 pt game against the Atlanta Hawks is still my favorite! The best part is seeing the Atlanta bench high fiving each other every time he hit a crazy ass shot, simply incredible!! I'm not a Pat Riley fan but he had the best quote about Larry Bird, "if the game is on the line give it to Michael Jordan but if your life is on the line, give it to Larry Bird!!!

    When I look at that pic of Larry Bird it certainly doesn't scream basketball legend and that's the best part! Then you watch him play and he's destroying the opposition - amazing!!

    Favorite Bird quote. After he won the inaugural 3 point contest at the All-Star game there was prize money like 25k or something and a reporter asked him if he was going to donate it to his favorite charity he said "yeah the Larry Bird fund"

    I always liked when he was asked what he was doing when he fund out he'd won his first MVP.
    He said he was "Mowing my mother's lawn, but you can be sure I don't have one of those push mowers anymore" or something like that.
