    The "American patriot who has been unjustly persecuted" part is hard to swallow. Torture is torture, no matter how you slice it. The information the interrogators are receiving had better be taken with a large grain of salt. And the fact that these guys are sending the message that they will win in the end, no matter what the US does? Of course they're saying that - their goal is to spread fear. That's their self-appointed job.
