Any crossover between obsessive PJ collecting and NES game collecting?

How did a boring Nintendo game from 1987 become the most coveted cartridge ever? It's a bit of a mystery.

Read this story last night. Not an NES game collector, though I do still have an original NES with dozens of games up in my attic. I'm always fascinated to read stories like this. Kinda like the Atari story about all the games buried in a landfill in New Mexico. Fascinating stuff.

I'm an NES collector. Had over 400 NES games in my collection at one point. Currently in the 250 range.

As far as Stadium Events, it's very rare. The game play itself is not very good. It was only available for short amount of time. I think the Nintendo World Championship cartridge is much more sought after for collectors.

Used to play that game as a kid. The cheap version, that is - World Class Track Meet. It did suck. The Power Pad was a terrible peripheral. Aside from the fact it took up half your floor, it's response was usually delayed and often non-existant.
