Hotels in Boston

Coming to Boston from Miami and have no idea what area in Boston I should get a hotel. Never been there. Don't want to spend crazy money but would like a decent place to stay. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also need 3 tickets to Mansfield 1 and 2 for Hartford if anyone has extras.

You definitely don't want to stay in Boston, you'll be pretty far from the venue (about 45 minutes away). Check out the Comfort Inn or Residence Inn in Foxboro. They're both less than 10 minutes from the Comcast Center.

Thanks guys. Since I have never been to Boston I was thinking of staying closer to the City to see it during the day. I understand that it will be a farther drive from the venue, but I also want to see the city and experience it as well. Any thoughts? Ideas? What area? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thx

Just checked RedRoof for rooms, but they're sold out. I have a reservation for Sunday-->Tuesday (when I booked it, they hadn't confirmed the 6/28 show yet). Either way, I have a place to stay w/ friends, so I don't need the room. If anyone needs a room, PM me and we can try to transfer the reservation, (rate I got was $81.99/night + taxes) otherwise I'll just cancel it.

if you can't find a decent place in boston proper you might want to consider cambridge. rooms should run a little cheaper and you're still close to downtown (most of cambridge is pretty cool as well).

I'm also flying in from Miami & staying in the city to catch Mansfield II. I've been able to book a room at the Boston Marriott - Copley Place, which allows my group to see the city during the day. The only problem is, we won't have a car, and need to know the best way to get to the concert and back without unloading our wallets. Any suggestions?

Rent a car or arrange a limo. Budget has some deals. You should expect to pay over $75 one way for a taxi. Mansfield is not public transportation friendly....Sorry.

You could see if someone from Boston is driving in and car pool?
