Just wondering why....

I just watched the segment on 60 Minutes on Bruno Mars and started thinking about the musical acts they've featured the last 10 or 15 years. I wondered why there has never been a piece on Pearl Jam? They are still around after 25 years, soon to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, have a huge, loyal following, are incredibly charitable and still make great music.

Gonna go out on a limb and guess that the band isn't interested in having 60 minutes do a segment on them.

They aren't a part of popular (pop) music anymore. They would be covered if they were. Yes, I realize shows sell out all the time, but there are alot of bands like that. Bruno Mars is a part of the pop music right now. I don't think they would say, "no thanks, we don't want (fill in the blank news) interviewing us".

yeah, it's strange. I'd say to most people, they were just another one/two hit band from the 90's.

There is a band that sells out wherever they go too and I have never heard a song by them. They are called Dispatch...

I think Ed might have briefly been on talking about "Body of War" around that time but there has never been anything about the band.
