Seating Arrangements of 10c Tix for Santa Cruz

Okay, so I missed out on the 10c pre-sale for EV's solo show at Santa Cruz but was lucky enough to secure two tix through Ticketbastard the day they went on sale.

Today I just received a e-mail from the 10c advising me that someone had cancelled their request and I had 48 hrs to accept the tix if I wanted them.

My question is, does anyone (who purchased tix through the 10c sale) have a understanding of where they will be seated at this show? I have pretty decent seats through TM, but my trigger finger is telling me to snag the 10c tix because they may be better seats overall. However, I would hate to grab these tix and sell my TM ones, only to find out on the day of the show that my TM tix were in a better location.

If I remember correctly, 10c seniority wasn't going to be a determining factor on where you sat at these shows. So if anyone has any info that could help me make my decision, I would be greatly appreciative!!

Peace,

RM

I'd take the 10C seats, and offer the TM seats to someone on here.

I have no idea. I did send them a e-mail when my credit card was authorized for the charge, but never got confirmation on getting the tix. And that was the e-mail they responded back to me on, so maybe they are reaching out to those who thought their request went through..who knows.

this should help with your decision: what letter does your last name begin with? 10C seats for the EV tour will be distributed by way of last names in order, A through Z (the same process used for the Key Arena/02 shows).
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

That is kind of cool - It is a tough call. you could wait until the day of and see what you end up with 10c wise, although technically would then selling them outside the venue if they were worse put you offside the rules of the club? If you are already happy with your seats, maybe you just let the next guy take em?

last names in order isn't random.....

    SHOW COUNT: (159) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=103, US=118, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=2, Australia=2
    Mexico=1, Colombia=1

    Upcoming:   Aucklandx2, Gold Coast, Melbournex2

since it would have been impossible to predict which 10C members would have been successful in securing the 10C presale tix, and since it would have been impossible to determine where one's 10C seats would be in relation to fellow 10C members who purchased tix to the same show, the process is very much a toss-up for fans (and quite fair as well). this makes the task all that much easier for the 10C,...i'll be reporting from the Centre in Vancouver to someone on the message-board as i line up to pick up the 10C tix with a definitive word as to how tix were distributed.

Well here is the reason why I'm debating on taking the 10c tix. The TM tix I got are off to the left side of the stage but very close, but the tix say that the view is obstructed.

Now I've been to the SC Civic Auditorium a few times and from what I remember, it was essentially a high school gym and I couldn't remember any large pillars off to the side that may obstruct my view. But I would hate to get there and have this very large pillar completely blocking my view of the stage.

So I'm not trying to be greedy, I just don't want to be possibly stuck somewhere without a view...whether it be with my TM tix or with the 10c tix.

    Peace,

    RM

    what do 2 opposites make??

    oh wait....I GOT IT!!!!

LOL...my last name is Zipperwitz...I guess that confirms my decision. Just kidding...but my last name does start with a "T" so if they do go alphabetically then my TM may be better overall. Wow, all these decisions....

don't let the obstructed note influence it...I have been to multiple shows with this warning and have had no obstructions - if you know the venue, trust your gut

I'd take the 10 club seats. I think any seat would be good, but I think 10 club seats are going to be really great.

by the way, i've been asking tons of people this, but if pearl jam is to announce a tour and i plan on going to a few shows, should i buy through 10c or wait for ticketbastard. my 10c number is 405xxx. i don't really kow if i can get good seats with that.. anyone got an idea of how good or bad they will be with that number, and opinions on what i should do?

Just for follow up purposes...I did not take the 10c tix. I called the SC Civic Auditorium and spoke with someone in the ticket office that said I should have a excellent view for the show!! So some other lucky soul will get a crack at the 10c tix!!!
