You got any '14 Prop? You local to Chicago? You going to Wrigley 2018? How about DLD '18? I'm trying to do a BCBS & DLD tasting sometime this spring, I'll keep you in mind. Later, Chris.
I actually didn’t. Someone I know generously put it to the side for me. Reserve was very limited for some reason. And the Binnys were all insane. Lincoln Park lineup started yesterday early evening I heard.

When is the party. I drank a 2018 tonight. Very balanced.
I was just about to say, when is the party at your house @tempo_n_groove ? Kegger!!
I totally need to do something with this!
im thinking of aging it for a few years.
What say youi?!?
I’d say you either have to drink it in a relatively short time frame or age the entire thing. You can’t drink half and age the other half. The air in a half filled keg will mess with the taste eventually I think. So my vote is to age it until the next PJ show in NY and then we’re all coming by your place!
Good question. I have zero experience there. I don’t think glass does anything for the aging process, so it comes down to whether or not the aluminum keg will hurt the taste.
My brother and I did very well. I got a case of regular and 3-4 of each variant (though to be fair, we went to Prop day and already had a leg up with some vanilla and Prop .
If anyone wants to trade a reserve lmk. I have 2016 2017 2018 base. I have some barleywine too. I also have 2 2015 rare but think I'm holding on those.
Wow! Congrats on that win...that's awesome. I ended up with a whole bunch of regulars and all the variants except reserve and wheatwine/coffee barleywine. Obviously wanted the reserve but wasn't interested in the other 2. Still bummed that they didn't do a regular coffee this year...that's always one of my favorites.
Had the regular 2018 last night....awesome as usual. Going to a local spot later today where they are tapping vanilla and midnight orange. Very excited for the vanilla....sounds like it is a really good one.

Damn keg was 100lbs, lol!
Aging it isnt a problem as long as it’s in a fridge. Ive got my local distributor that will hold it for me.
Its a hell of a lot of beer.
I was also also thinking of doing an event with my local distributor.
I did a 2012-2018 flight over thanksgiving. Good stuff!
