That logic generally makes sense. But here we have a very limited item that doesn't come up for sale that often. Someone who didn't want to pay $1,500 for the last one may think to themselves "this doesn't come up very often, I see one listed for $1,500, and I'm just gonna buy it and be done with it". Sometimes people who want to buy one weren't paying attention when one sold and now a week later you might find 3 potential buyers who didn't know about the last sale and get in a bidding war.

And there is nothing wrong with asking for Ebay prices on here. Some of us would keep a lot of our items if we could only sell for cost. Plus, who knows if we sell low on here that the buyer isn't going to turn around sell for higher later? For a sale to occur two people have to agree on a price. The agree upon price is one where someone is okay selling at that price, and the other is okay buying at that price. So, any sale on this board has two satisfied participants (of course we all as buyers would love to pay less but we don't usually pay more than we are comfortable and satisfied with).

I didnt say anything about selling for cost, people here used to help each other out and sell for less than Ebay, now a lot of people on here have turned greedy and turned this place into an auction site without having to pay any fees. Thats all im saying.

It listed the UPC which was for the unofficial orange and the picture had the distinctive "Pearl Jam" at the top of the front cover. No doubt that was not the first pressing.
