We lost another great musical talent yesterday - Leon Russell.
Thank God for recorded music.

    I got to see him live a few years ago. Good show! It's amazing the songs he played piano on. I also enjoy his album "carney." One of my fave piano pieces he did was on "day after day" by Badfinger. I also got lucky and he had his tour manager get stuff after the show for Leon to sign.

    If you ever get a chance to listen to Leon's "Stop All That Jazz" album, do! It's very hard to find on CD reissue (and expensive) but you can still find the original vinyl record if you look hard. I still have my original album boxed away somewhere - haven't found it yet though!
