Today we lost one of my favorites. He gave us music for over 50 years and for that I will be forever grateful.

    Very lucky I got to see him live a few yrs back.

    I read a piece in the New Yorker about a month ago in which he stated that he was ready to die.

    In that sense, I guess he's lucky to have done so and to be at peace.

    I still miss him, though.

    Here's KD Lang singing it to Leonard during his induction to the Canadian Songwriters' Hall of Fame is 2006. He was supposedly completely taken by her version of his song. He specifically deferred to her for the 2010 Olympics performance and had it on his jukebox at home. KD runs down to him for worship after she's finished the song. :heart:
