I think the fact that it took this long for anyone to ask about it might tell us why there wasn't a CD reissue. ;) Not saying that there shouldn't be, but I'm guessing that the potential market demand played a factor here. There are still a lot of cheap CDs of these albums out there so I figure 10C just focused on where the need was, and that was with the vinyl. I just found a brand new No Code CD for under $7 CAD on amazon. I know it's not a remaster, but the CD market is clearly already flooded, so....

Thanks! Have you or anyone listened to these? Do they sound better than the original release? Someone else said the fact that no one asked this sooner shows there is no demand, and in some ways I can see that, but at the same time plenty of people do still use CDs. The two biggest reasons I didn't buy the reissue are, 1.) I own both the original vinyl releases and 2.) Unlike Ten, Vs and Vitalogy, there was no bonus material. #2 was a big let down for me, as studio wise, I would say these two records was probably my favorite era and I was really looking forward to some unreleased stuff.

But anyways, I would really just like to know if the HD tracks are something worth purchasing, i.e. is there a noticeable difference I will hear from those and rips off the original cds?

I wasn't a fan of the HD tracks when they came out. The digital files to me still seemed overly compressed with out air.
If you are a DR kinda person here are the stats for the CD and the HD:

I like how No Code sounds. Seems a tad sharper in HD.
