    The crowd was better Friday, a lot more engergy but the band sounded better night 2. Seems like they had some sound issues Friday night, parts of songs where you could barely here the vocals. Had a great time at both shows and loved hearing River of Deceit night 2.

    And hearing a Syd Barrett song was just amazing and something I never thought I'd hear live.

    Am I the only one who noticed Mike eff up River of Deceit? Bless him. :peace:
    It was definitely a great experience and I thought the guys truly delivered. The covers were ok in my opinion (though I loved Quicksand for Bowie and the Cure's). War Pigs had everybody go nuts. Who thoughts a bunch of PH fans would be so into Sabbath :tongue:
    The MLB tunes were a lot better than I thought. CC did a great job. But, what went on during Holy Roller in the spoken part? I couldn't tell from where I was sitting. Did they play a different version of Andy's lyrics or did Chris do the spoken part?
    We are very lucky bastards to be able to witness this.
    I also thought this was being filmed so maybe we will get a Christmas treat?

    went from row 2 dead center night 1 to upper balcony for night 2 and had almost as good a time. Drove straight home after the show Saturday and slept most of yesterday just so I would be ready for tonight's show. I want to thank Brian again for the unreal spare, and the PJ locals who always make me feel at home in Philly. Thanks again fellas. If any of u make it MSG hit me up, I got sum fire.

    The spoken word part was Andy. Night 2 had signs up that they were recording.

    Wow can't say enough about the 2 philly shows and the tower theatre. Ten rows back stone side Friday and 8 rows back on mikes side sat. Incredible 2 nights. A big thanks to my pj traveling buddy greg graff for talking me into going to both shows not that it was to hard to do

    My personal highlights:

    River of Deceit was spectacular

    The covers were incredible and hearing every song by TOTD live was something I thought would never happen, especially Your Savior, my favorite song by them. The energy from the band then the crowd, was amazing! Awesome room to see them in as well. Top 5 concert experiences of my life.

    The band was having so much fun, that was special to witness the joy they were having just playing these songs for a friend they still hold near and dear, truly remarkable!

    Only thing that may come close or maybe even exceed this would be a Mad Season tour. I say that because that album is very special to me personally.

    With that said, what a fucking night in Philly!

    Exactly how Rock n' Roll should be! Holy fn Shit!!! I was lucky to catch both shows in Philly and the one in NY (10C for Philly 1 :)) Wish I could hit all the rest too. I would. I wouldn't care if they played the same songs every night. The energy these guys create in person is unmatched. So happy for Chris and the guys (and us fans too) that they are doing this tour. Unforgettable experience! Thank you!!!!

    great show, band sounded great
    River of Deceit was a nice addition the setlist, Chris' voice sounded fantastic all night, Matt kicked ass on Achilles, and the band was visibly happy to be playing these songs.
