I cannot hear the audio, so I don't know what is being said. Supposedly the camera operator was shot by police.
He is explaining why they are there protecting their water source and how its a sovereign nation and the land the police are standing on is the army core of engineers land and how they shouldn't be there...then SOB shoots him!
Well it would have helped, I did look for indication.
Yeah, I think it would have been a more active thread if it indicated what it's about! Anyway, not trying to shut down your thread, I just thought there are some points in the other thread that are good and already made.
Saw a story yesterday about how 2 cops assigned there have handed in their badges and standing with the protestors. Good for them. Saw another story saying that all of the combined police forces there are running out of money, lol. It's absolutely disgusting how much money the government is spending on suppressing these people, all to protect private pipeline/oil companies. Revolting and so wrong. More people should be really mad about this whole thing. I know it's a growing story, but really, pretty much EVERYBODY should be furious and blaming a whole lot of government players. Disgraceful.

this needs more coverage...this is completely disgusting
And yet you plan to vote for Trump who is obviously okay with all of this just like neolib Hillary. Jill is the only one who cares.
If Jill had a chance she would be my second choice behind Rand Paul...Jill needs to choose a different running mate tho, but i get your point...ill take Trump over Hillary anyday
after doing research Trump has ties to the group that is wanting to build the pipeline so that is one point of view with his that ill disagree with
I know a lot of you disagree with the Malhuer protestors and the Bundy's but if you dig past the fluff that MSM is feeding you it would be apparent that these cases have a common theme. That is the battle for land rights and the government violating agreements and just doing whatever they want.

But who is battling for which land and why is the whole story, and if you're comparing those two cases, the who, where, and why is a LOT different.

But keep trying to convince me that guns isn't the issue.
I did already and I only repeat myself when I'm distressed... or when I write weird poetry. Here's from from the late 80's:
I Only Repeat Myself When I'm Distressed
I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed
I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed I repeat myself when I'm distressed
Needless to say, that one never went over so well. I was distressed.

this whole thing reminds me of railroad history, a big corp and the government taking land from people for the betterment of the people as a whole, I don't see this as the government fucking the Indians...they're fucking the American people ! (again) and what administration is in charge right now ? and why aren't they standing up for the right of the people ? a government for sale ?....no shit.

Bad thread title though. @SOLAT319 Maybe you could change the title to indicate that it's about Standing Rock?

A journalist at Standing Rock was shot by police for no reason—and caught the awful moment on video
At bottom of that article is this video: WATCH: More pepper spray, more rubber bullets. More police attacks on peaceful NoDAPL demonstrations.

Thanks for posting this Brian.
