Can we limit all of this Cubs nonsense to one thread? Perhaps put it in the appropriate section of the forum as well? Personally I don't give two fucks about who's at the game and where they're sitting. Baseball, perhaps the silliest sport ever.

    Agreed. It's gotten to be a bit much with all the Cubs threads on the Porch, shouldn’t these be moved to AET? Now that they have finally won it will be nice for this place to go back to being a Pearl Jam forum.

    I think he means that he is a PJ fan or enjoys PJ but his life is not dictated by them i.e what sports team to root for, what watch to wear, what wine to drink

    I think the Cubs excitement mostly comes from the fact that PJ just played two shows at Wrigley, and a lot of people are waiting for the THREE Chicago bootlegs to be released. And now with the Cubs winning the World Series, we are expecting PJ to release something special. I don't care about baseball. but I do think it is cool that the Cubs won. It makes my trip to Wrigley this past summer a lot more special, and something my wife and I will remeber.
