Presale Prices? - Tower Theater - what is face value?

Hi all,

Just talked to my brother, who bought tickets during the presale. He said they were $116 + service fees = $140/ticket
I looked online at Livenation and the tickets are all listed at $98 + service fees.

Am I missing something? Why would the presale be more expensive? Does it come with a poster? Was he overcharged?

If anyone bought presale, I'd love to know what face value is, particularly Tower Theater.
