TOTDog Ticket Question

so i have someone (3hrs away) who has tickets for close to face value and they're in the first few rows for philly 2. they want cash only (not paypal). this isn't through the 10c forum or any one i personally know. seems too cheap for what tickets have been going for. anyone thinks this is a scam? cash in person does seem less of a scam than paypal but for less than $150/ticket, i should probably meet up in a super public place/police station, right?

    someone almost got me like that due to desparation this past PJ tour. sad to say that with non-10c tix like that, your best bet is to meet at box office and have em scan tix for legitimacy.

    If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Stay away.

    Yeah I actually witnessed the fall out to what I assume was a similar situation at pj msg2 this tour. 4 people seated behind me had tickets for the same seats (2 couples). I heard the first couple chatting before about how they felt so lucky to have purchased the tickets for not a terrible price at a bar just a couple of hours before the show. Their tickets scanned at the door so they thought they were good. A few minutes later 2 more people showed up with (10c) tickets for the same seats that had also scanned. Turns out the first couples seats were counterfeit. I have no idea how all of these tickets scanned ok to let everyone in. It nearly got ugly but they all left to go solve the issue and the 1st couple didn't return.

    I'm so paranoid something like that will happen at every concert I go to.
