Any Apple Geniuses Here?

Alright, so I'm not the greatest at updating my apps but now I'm unable to access my banking app because it needs to be updated. Needless to say, I'd like to see how much money I don't have.
So I go to update the apps and it says "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I call Support and they say to update my password. I do that and try again...same message. I now realize that I can't buy from iTunes, update my credit card, or even update my address.
Anyone have any suggestions? It's driving me absolutely insane.

I'm sorry. Phone. However, I just checked on my Mac laptop about buying from iTunes, no dice.

as far as the banking app....and maybe relavent to the other issues....there is more and more anti-hacking, security stuff coming out and the old OS'es won't support it. I had to go to a new solid state hard drive and the latest OS on our desktop.

    dontcha just love planned obsolescence?

that said, the SSD and new OS made a world of difference.

ledvedd, we were having similar issues (no BofA access and couldn't update, Uber not cooperating, etc.). My husband got the new Google phone and all is well now in his technical world.

    Mine, not so much

How old is your phone? Probably going to get the newer one.

Having an outdated OS or an older phone shouldn't affect the Apple ID. I have no idea what the problem is, but if it were me, I'd visit the "Genius" Bar at an Apple Store.

    This for sure!

No. You have to make sure that your flux capacitor is fluxing!
