It does seem bad, but you have to be a resident's guest to get the $20, or in at all (I'm assuming). Hopefully this guy doesn't live in a dorm, that would f-ing blow.
Eddie Verdde, you might want to up the ante if you want a 10c ticket.

I live in the residence myself and guests will have their own private room.
If you guys think it's a bad deal why did you even bother to reply?
because they are voicing their opinion- this is a public forum

I'll trade 2 Balcony 1 Seats for Night 2 and $20 for 2 10C seats...seems like a fair deal to me. I'll even provide transportation from Chicago to Iowa City, Iowa following Ed's performance...shelter is negotiable.

I think 80% of the people here are acting like dicks...and let me be one of them.
To simplify; seemingly this man wants to trade a place to pass out after the show for an extra concert ticket...what pisses everyone off i guess is that the worth of the shelter is 20 dollars.
Guy- really shouldnt have mentioned the room price, turned it into a whole different thing...now the prospective trader might consider selling his 10c ticket for a normal price and getting a decent hotel room. Also, every passer by will act condescending as all hell to you throughout this post.
10c ticket? Personally, i dont care where the hell i am in the theatre...id be happy to sit in the hallways/bathroom stall/a small corner with a bowl in hand, if i could get to this show. To each his own.
Nah i got you man, and by all means good luck with alla that.
All i really was saying is that you should have only mentioned the "going rate" for the room...for example, in a Mcdonalds ad they wouldnt say "double cheeseburger for a dollar (but it costs us .27 to make it)"...then you'd have crackheads comin in there with a quarter and two pennies tryin to make a federal case out of it.
Anyway, im sure you'll get to the show one way or another.

I'm leaving my hotel for the concert now. You've got my number if you want my other 10c ticket for tonight.
If not, so be it.
I've been there before, I'll get rid of it somehow.
Adios.
