You guys don't think it'll disappear as fast as the Lexington or Sperry print?

The Miami Sperry poster took a while to sell out. It was the first drop of the 16 tour, and Santos dropped it out of the blue one late afternoon. No one had a clue it was dropping.

As far as the Thomas. If it gets dropped at the normal time of around 10-11 AM, then it will be gone in under 10 minutes. If Santos plays his hands of cars a different way then the normal drop time that people are on here waiting for, then it might take a little longer to sell out. A random late 4-6 PM drop would give more people more of a chance on picking one up, the the normal 10-11 AM drop.
That also might cause a few car crashes as people are trying to order their Thomas while navigating rush hour traffic on their way home :)
Hopefully they're the flippers buying them to throw them up on ebay right away for re-sale the minute the buy them.
  • There's gotta be a way to avoid that. For example.. don't put all that Fenway thomas online. For tomorrow a couple en few days later the rest of it. (It's just an idea) do that couple times. And you got the problem solved.

It would be cool if 10C could send members a unique purchase code, similar to the bootlegs, that would allow them to purchase a poster whenever a concert print/set is released. Keep it a private 10C code-only sale for a few days, then open it up to the general public. This would give 10C members a true chance before the flippers get their greasy hands all over them.

They're never open to public sales, only 10C members can purchase the posters now.

It probably would be too much work for Santos, but the fairest way to sell the Thomas poster would be a lottery. Enter for the right to buy one poster.

Thomas poster should go on sale tomorrow after the World Series Game 1 .. game, only if the Cubs win. If the Cubs lose, sell the Thomas prints @ 12am PST.

The thomas Fenway drive me crazy!!!

I have a feeling they will be fully stocked up well with Steve's Fenway poster. That it will be available for over 24 hours. The fact that 5 of the 6 Fenway posters are still available for purchase for many day's now makes you wonder that they printed a lot more copies to satisfy their 10club customers.
I hope you're right, but I don't think so. I saw all the posters they have in the store available for purchase on both nights I went, but I don't recall seeing the Thomas by the time I got to the merch stands. That was the only one I kinda wanted, but I wasn't going to wait in a long line to get one. Had a fine time enjoying beers with friends instead. I hope I can get one as a memento of a great PJ trip in Boston.

  • DMB releases their weekday show posters the day of the show, 3pm local time of show on their online store. Weekend shows, they send an email to the people that purchased tickets thru fanclub. They can only be purchased via this link. This works great for the people that were at the show. It does make it tough for the collectors, but eliminates alot of nonsense purchasing.

What about the fan club members that get shut out of the fan club tickets, and had to purchase tickets through the venue or ticketbastard? Doesn't seem fair to them, if only fan club ticket holders can purchase merch, does it?

I don't disagree with this, as I have missed posters that I didn't have tickets for, but I have also scored as other memberside ha entry posted the link as soon as they received it on pages like this.

They should just put a stop to the outdoor merch trucks. Only sell merch inside the venue. And have a 1 ticket = 1 poster rule. Present your ticket inside, get one poster, they mark the back of the ticket to prevent double-dipping.
