    Hiya, chadwick.

Is this Big E family? Is she plucky?

All I can offer is that should I reach that age and still have more than just my wits about me, I'd be down for a bottle of fine scotch, good smoky BBQ with all the fixins, and a few laps in a badass race car (as either driver or passenger).

My mom will turn 90 next year.

She always says she doesn't need anything but she enjoys getting gift cards to her favorite places to shop. Bed Bath and Beyond is at the top of her list. But I think I could get her a card to a grocery store and she'd be happy. She also loves receiving flowers, so I get them for her at least a couple of times a year.

Maybe a gift card to a nice restaurant? I'll try to think of some other things.

Don't know when the party is, but put together a photo album of family pictures and news clippings of the world events that have occurred in her lifetime. Pleasant ones of course. They don't have to be real clippings, research her life span and make home made cut outs of things she loved in her lifetime. For example, if it were me, anything to do with PJ, the Who, Pete Townshend, Baseball, Kevin Costner, Cats, etc etc. let her know you know what makes her who she is.

How about an assortment of nice teas or jams and preserves?

thank you, folks. nice stuff. no she isn't family

scotch & fine ass smoky bbq. yum. scotch may be a bit much for this one. yes sure as shit she's plucky. (had to look that one up)
bed bath & beyond. i just thought of candles
yeah for sure she needs a big sweaty wrestler, who don't?
probably not gonna create a photo album w/ newspaper clippings & important events that have happened in her lifetime. although a great idea, it's too much for me & whatnot.
nice teas, jam & preserves is a grand plan

My first thought is from Taladega Nights when Glenn is trying to think of a gift for his Nanna, it goes something like this:

    "A gigolo."
"What? No, I was thinking maybe a nice afghan throw."
"She probably has a closet full of those, doesn't she? How many dudes does she have coming over to bang her? Be thoughtful Glenn."

she hates tea, dislikes jams & only has yogurt-butter on her toast or muffins. a hipster male prostitute lathered up in bubbles & yogurt-butter, yes/no? she already has a ipad & cellular phone.
