I didn't even know baseball was still being played let alone the cubs were in it until I just saw the ev@cubs thread pictures.
Now I am interested a little more until they get knocked out.

Totally rooting for the Cubs after my first trip to Wrigley in August. Their fans are much more like able than the Philly fans around here.

    Now we're talking.. TRIBE!

I had been to Wrigley several times before the two shows, but I do love the area. It's the best scene in baseball. Not sure anywhere else is particularly close. But I would like to see the Dodgers win. I don't really want to face them .

Must be a lot of new Cubs fans. Saw a lot of them behind home plate overreacting to routine fly balls, thinking they were going out. Watch the fielder, not the ball.
    Go Dodgers.

They became my #2 team after the Wrigley shows, i had always likes them fine but the Wrigley shows were so special. They'll never be the Phillies though (I'm originally from Philly but now live in Green Bay. Always loved the pack and my dad got on the list for tickets in his 20s for season tickets, we moved here 9 years ago and got the tickets 3 years ago after 30+ years on the list. Used to be phillies season ticket holders, still love the phils. we're a strange family.)

All you new Cubs fans will fit right in with the "old" fans. You started paying attention around the same time.

*not referring to the ones around here that have been bitching about their shortcomings for years.

As a Yankee fan my season ended a long time ago. I'd like to see the Cubs win for the historical aspect but I'm not a Cubs fan

As a Red Sox fan, I'm rooting for a Cleveland / Chicago WS. Both fan bases have been waiting a long-ass time, and I'll be happy to see either win.

as a yankees fan I totally agree: tribe vs cubs would be awesome! but there is no way I'm becoming a cubs fans because ev is one or because I saw pj at wrigley field.

There are usually no fans behind the plate in LA . That is until the 4th inning or the phony celebs trying to get camera time.

Not true at all. Wrigley sells out even when they suck ass.

I'm not a fan but not a hater either. You can't disparage Cubs fans. They are as loyal and committed as fans get.

I'm cheering for the Jay's but it doesn't look too good for them, so I'll cheer for the cubs if the Jay's aren't in the world series. I'll admit I was a bit disappointed there were no Cubs games at Wrigley when I was there for PJ (I flew in a day early, and left a few days after the 2nd show). We did end up driving up to Milwaukee (as I'd never been to Wisconsin) and seeing a Brewers came. Not this is was epic, but I love the whole beer themed baseball team thing :)

There are a LOT of new Cubs fans in Chicago lately. If the Cubs win, I'll be happy for all the real Cubs fans that have suffered for so long, but I can't stand all these dipshits that just jump on the bandwagon.
