What's your 90s top 10?

So for me the 90s was the best decade for music, so many great songs and artists, songs had special meanings and feelings attached to them and shaped what I listen too even today.
So i decided to compile a top 10 list of my favorite songs it was tough to keep it at 10 and I based mine on songs I loved then and still love now, songs that take me back to the 90s when i listen to them today, have the strongest memories when I listen to them and have that "90s feel"

Pearl Jam - Alive
Soundgarden - Blackhole Sun
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Live - Lightning Crashes
U2 - One
REM - Everybody Hurts
Lenny Kravitz - Are You Gonna Go My Way
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Radiohead - Creep

So there's my top 10, feel free to share your top 10, songs don't need to be in any order and just one song per artist....Go

Cool thread idea. I also get that feeling when listening to certain songs from the 90's. It takes me back to certain time or place and I can suddenly remember some great memories. I'll think of my list and post it later.

Day for Night - The Tragically Hip
    No Code - Pearl Jam
    Soup - Blind Melon
    Laid - James
The Lonesome Crowded West - Modest Mouse
In the Aeroplane Over the Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel
    End Hits - Fugazi
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Smashing Pumpkins

This actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Oops! Sorry, I did albums, but yeah, I guess the OP intended songs only. I think I'm in album mode as I'm still going through that top 100 albums of the 80s task, haha. Well, I can't do top 10 90s songs. No way I'm even going to attempt narrowing it down that much, lol. I enjoyed listing the albums! :)

It's basically impossible, lol. I just threw up ten songs that really resonate for me as 90s songs that I love/d .... but there is no way my 10 actual favorite 90s songs are all there. But at least a few are. :) I probably have at least 20 90s songs that are tied for the #1 spot alone, ha.

Bob = some of Nofx's best lyrics!! Senior year of high school three of my friends and I would take turns bringing in our Punk in Drublic CD's every Friday morning and play The Brews in the lobby before school started.

Definitely were/are one of my favorite bands. S&M Airlines, Ribbed, White Trash, Longest Line, & Punk in Drublic were the soundtracks to many, many shenanigans back on those days! Liza & Louise. When I was in high school, there was still a huge stigma about homosexuality, even lesbianism which has always seemed to be more socially acceptable. That song was one of the first devices that spoke to me as if to say "it's okay." For as silly as Nofx can be, they can also ring in some very hard truths on social & political issues. That's the mark of a true punk band!

what year did you graduate? I'm 96.
I see you are from maryland. I have no clue where in baltimore it was but I saw one of the best hardcore/punk shows in a rastafarian house above a mechanic shop. There was literally one flood light to illuminate the bands...I think it was either $2 for entry or free if you brought canned food. I believe the bands that played were grade, hot water music and boy sets fire. All three were huge influences on me at that point of my life (i'm guessing 97/98).

Class of '95 here. No clue what or where that would've been in Baltimore, but that definitely sounds right for the punk scene at that time. I actually live about 2 hours west; closer to Pittsburgh than Bmore.
