    didn't they do it one time with him on mtv or vh1 or something, some awards show? it was awhile ago

    They did... and it's killer wicked. I don't know what show it was from..... but there is a video on VH1 every now and again. Mike and Neil tore it up.

    Thanks. I'll have to check it out when I get home from work. These bastards block youtube. Prob better off because I would prob get absolutely nothing done if I had access to that site.

    Yes, there is a bootleg of this show. I was there and have bootlegs of many of the performances from that weekend. I'll also note that Sunday of that weekend (10/22/2006) was the 16th anniversary of Pearl Jam's first show.

    For my money, the best version of this song is from the Australian tour in 1995. There are recordings of it out there: Flinders Park Tennis Centre, March 1995. Dave Grohl sits in and just crushes Jack's drums, hammering away. It was part of a Triple J radio broadcast.

    Not to take anything away from versions with Neil, but this one rocks so hard. Its worth checking out.
