Stereogum has a great interview with Paul Rachman, the director of the "Hunger Strike" video. He shares some great details about the video, and about the lives of the guys at that time in their careers. It's definitely worth your time. You can find it here:

    I'm sure I've seen that video in the past few years, but I recalled almost none of it, especially not Jeff's bright purple coat. Everyone else is in earth tones and he looks like a Crown Royale bag. heehee

    Love the irony that PJ wanted to be in the video, if they knew then what they knew 2-3 years later.
