  • I got to listen to Binaural for the first time on wax yesterday as well. OMG :open_mouth: so much more to that album. I kept having to take breaks between sides to process it all. It was a dream come true. I didn't get the sweet score you did but I'm pretty fucking happy.
Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
  • i would use them as trade bait for a ga for the next tour cause being on the rail is the only way...
  • How could someone in 2016 sell these for $50? 2 minutes on Ebay would tell you they are worth a lot more. I get just wanting them to be out of the house but selling for $50 is like throwing them away basically. $50 pays for a tank of gas and that is about it.

Yah you have to wonder how much of a fan the seller was? Maybe they simply bought them way back in the day for face value, and had no idea of their rarity. That' has to be well over $500 USD in vinyl?

I will add another little nugget to the story, the guy lives in Australia and he had some storage at a relatives home. So I met with his brother-in-law to pick up the vinyl. I talked to his sister on the phone. These records are in immaculate shape. I think he might have unsealed them and put them directly into the record frames. Either way, I am absolutely ecstatic to have these. Not sure if I want to sell my other copies (my players) or what....

Thanks everyone - I thought you guys would appreciate the story - good luck in your searches. Things are out there waiting to be discovered.........
  • Been doing the same search for the past 2 years, every couple of weeks. Glad to see it isn't necessarily a hopeless chase. Good work Buck!

Did you buy this package from a guy in the back of a van at the gas station?? And did he offer you set of kick ass speakers too??
You might want to get his finger prints from the frames just in case...

Listened to Binaural again today - this is as close as Pearl Jam has come to an audiophile vinyl release.....
