Just got my tickets for the show in DC...comin out from Chicago and have never been to the Verizon Center. Is it a good place to see a show? How are the acoustics??

Any other tips, insight, etc.. would be appreciated.

I went to the Verizon Center in 2006 on a last minute decision. I found tickets on eBay, so I didn't have good seats, but the show was excellent, the pre-party at a local bar (I forgot the name of it) was so much fun, I met some incredible people, and had the time of my life.

I'm really looking forward to going back! Hopefully, the weather won't be almost 100 degrees this time. :)

I thought the show sounded great last time. I have heard in the upper levels, the sound is not as good. And I am betting it will be 100 degrees outside again.
