What can be said when something like this becomes a weekly occurrence? :frowning:

It says he entered the mall without a gun... I wonder where the gun came from??? Accomplice? Or did he hide it in there? ..... I'm going to assume he didn't go in, buy the gun and ammo and start shooting. Even in America, that seems unlikely.
So scary that he is still on the loose. Wow.

They caught the SOB, Arcan Cetin. Sure wasn't a Hispanic like the MSM was trying to push. Don't know many Turkish Hispanics.

Some how I keep thinking if this was some other parts of Washington State I know or been through I would at least a little less surprised. Or some other razy part of the world. But Burlington- jeez, Burlington? It's hard to picture this kind of thing happening there. Has Northern Washington State changed that much since the mid 90's? Man...

This stuff can happen ANYWHERE. Just take a crazy person with crazy ideas and crazy people are everywhere. I'm sure Burlington is still a nice place...just like Aurora, CO.

So authorities are not ruling out that this is another terror attack.

Of course it's a terror attack! The only people who question that are the folks who wear american flag apparel, they think it's only terrorism if it's perpetrated by a Muslim. Mass shootings are acts or terrorism, even if the perpetrator is a skinny white kid with a bowl cut.

Yep and we knew this knee jerk response would happen. As predictable as clock work.

Couldn't. The mall is a gun free zone.

    Another peaceful muslim.

I'm thinking religion and incident are coincidental for this one. From GF's link, he appears to be a pud that was sad.

But it's so much easier to just call it terrorism.

In most of the recent cases... it has been. It's definitely something versus a random string of mass murders orchestrated by- coincidentally- fanatical religious zealots.

It's still the same. It's not Burlington's fault.

I definitely wouldn't label it as a terrorist attack. I believe a terrorist attack needs to be politically motivated. That's what makes terrorism terrorism. This guy was apparently a jilted lover or something along those lines (his religion seems irrelevant).

Good to know. That's a nice part of the world. Seems odd when people so fortunate to live in a place like that go off the deep end. Now it this were, say, Forks, WA I might not be surprised. When I live in Sequim (pronounced squim) people used to talk about how high the murder rate was there because it was very economically depressed and it rained all the time and people sometimes went nuts.
