Hello,
I attended the first night at the Wells Fargo Center 4/28, and missed Release. This song has a very special meaning to me and my dad who sadly cannot attend the show because of travel. Thank you for looking.

    Isn't this Ed solo? I don't see him performing Release solo since he didn't do the music to it. I believe the only instance where he's played PJ songs that he didn't do the music to was playing Black in Vegas years ago because someone offered $5,000 to Ed's chosen charity to do so.

    but on PJ20 movie he is by the fire playing release so who knows right, might as well dream

    I think he probably COULD do it. I've always found Release to be pretty tricky to play and sing along to.

    Ha. D-Bm-A are the only three chords in the song as far as my foggy brain can remember.
