Dig, As we can see from responses, folks have more of an issue w/ Hillary and her shadiness than Trump and his Misgivings. What does THAT say?
She is being held to a much higher standard. And I think she should be held to that standard, but so should Trump. It just seems like everyone has become so numb to how much of an actual fuck-up he is that he can get away with it. That is the only way I can understand it. It really defies all common sense.
In general, Americans of had it with establishment politics. That is the whole thing behind trump, he is a circus in himself and it's clear he doesn't want that job, but the people don't want establishment. "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" isn't jiving on Americans anymore.
The one commonality Sanders and trump have is that they're both antiestablishment. And the Sanders movement was YUUGE. If anything is understandable, is that we are fed up with establishment.
I disagree with the idea that Trump is anti-establishment. That is a con he is selling, but many disenfranchised Americans are buying it.
I agree that Sanders was anti-establishment, that is one of the reasons I supported him. I completely understand why Americans are pissed off, but if they think Trump is the answer, I'm afraid they will sadly be disappointed. That's like taking radiation to battle a cold.
Hillary definitely is establishment, but she is far better than the only other option in this election.
Fear is a great motivator to vote for Hillary. I think it's rational and justifiable fear of a Trump presidency.
I have a friend in PA, of the swing states who said, "I will have to vomit and then go into the voting booth and cast my vote for Clinton." I'm so very lucky not to live in a swing state. I'm bummed for my friend.

First time I will be voting for a Republican president. It's coming at a time of ridiculous political correctness and BLM false narratives along with a decaying foreign policy in the Middle East.

The false narrative is what you just wrote, and unfortunately, why Trump is now an option. Drilling for fear (to keep it PJ themed)
False narrative is the reality. Mike Brown wasn't just walking in the street. Wasn't a book, wasn't just selling cds, etc...etc...Stop your micro-aggression!!

So you think different versions of what happened in a police shooting is new?
Nope. I wait for the facts to come in before burning down a town. Key word is facts.

You used the term "decaying" and "at a time", which obviously reference the present compared to the past. The thing is, your concerns have been happening for quite some time.

Political correctness safe spaces and micro-aggressions are all new bullshit from the Left, and the BLM movement have done nothing but made things worse (on purpose). New things happening. Obama's decaying Middle East foreign policy is recently new as well.

Free, you should have kept this poll to Americans only, no disrespect to my fellow citizens of the world, but just so we could get a more accurate poll.
Not sure how to do that, in fact, I thought folks out of the US just wouldn't place a vote since, they are not residents! Or do what Hugh voted: not voting dammit!
Are you guys actually expecting to get some kind of accurate or meaningful result here?? What difference does it make if people from other countries voted? Surely you weren't looking to use this poll as some kind of representation of how America is going to vote?
Because, you're not going to be voting in November in the US. Needs no more explanation.
So what? This is an AMT poll, not an American poll.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

PC, micro aggression, and blm are all things that were happening before, they're just new labels combined with social media/internet exposure.
And in what ways has foreign policy with the Middle East been decaying recently?

Look up ISIS. Israel and Obama (watch the PBS frontiline on that one, even they admit it's bad). Oh, it's a media conspiracy! The Left isn't worse with it's whining and blaming. It's just the media. Pfffttttt. I guess you live in a vacuum where nothing shifts or changes in the world.

My whole point is things shift and change, your point was that things are worse. I was asking how they're worse. Remember the Iraq war, before Obama. You're telling me that was good for relations with the Middle East? Go back before that. How about setting up a puppet dictator in Iran? Ah, the good old days!
Trump = macro aggression. People get off on that. It's the American way!
What about Hillary and her war-monger persona? And using Trump every chance she gets to make deflect bad attention? Aggression is agression. And agression causes division. It's where this country is at.
I choose peace. The one thing that only one candidate was about. And we know who that was, Brian.

Good point. If elected, I have a hard time seeing HRC being described as "The Peace President". Maybe the opposite.

Why wouldn't you vote for Johnson? Third parties aren't going to be taken seriously until 1)people vote for them and 2) third parties show they can raise cash. I don't see how voting for Johnson in Missouri is a wasted vote. It's going to be red on Election Night, might as well vote your heart.
Side note: how do you see the governor's race and senate race doing? I think Blunt is going to be okay, but the governors race is already nasty.
Third parties won't be taken seriously until the Constitution is amended to allow them a chance at winning. They can raise as much cash as they want, and get as many votes as the 2 major parties, that's fine...but as soon as that happens the decision on who becomes President goes to the House of Representatives, where the 2 parties rule.
going third party for the first time ever. I've voted democrat every year since 1996 but I absolutely loathe Hillary. (and her husband was my favorite president ever)
I still don't understand the hatred of clinton. I'm wondering why you guys think she lies any less than any other politician, including her hubby.
.... so nobody is going to actually answer this question?
Why don't you guys just read through the Clinton for prez thread.
But has since switched aliegence to Trump and encourages other berniebros to do the same. Traitor to the cause.
