How early to get good lawn seats in Camden?

I've heard front of the lawn are pretty good seats and further back not so much. What time should I aim to get there? Also I am supposed to bring something to sit on? I've only seen them at Wachovia so this lawn thing is weird and confusing to me.

the only help I can offer is that at WPB there was a line of about 100-200 people at one of the gates (I am assuming the other was similar) at about 5:30PM.

As far as what you can bring in,this is off of their official site:

My first PJ show was '98 at the then E Center (then Tweeter, now Susquehanna) and we had lawn seats. Basically get there for when the doors open and try to get a spot right on the rail. We were on the rail and it was amazing. You can stand on the rail and get a great view of everyone in the seats because the lawn is elevated. I have 10C seats now, but if you get right at the front of the lawn, it is an amazing experience.
