CD-R's for the '16 Boots?

Are they still putting the shows on crappy CD-R's?

Not sure the year they started this (all of the Nugs as the manufacturers years?).

I know the sound quality isn't effected, but I think the physical (weight, etc.) is disappointing.

Hoping to get a 2016 Tour boxset...
these have been silver / pressed CDs since NUGS took over the bootleg program from Kufala!!!

2013 and 2014 boxsets have been silver pressed cd's. I honestly don't know about '15 and '16.. Individual boots will be cd-r's I think, if there will be a boxset probably silver pressed

Correct...
The 2000 & 2003 boots were silver / pressed CDs.
The only way to get the silver pressed discs for the 2013 & 2014 tour was by purchasing the tour boxset!!
The earlier boxsets...
2008, 2009 & 2010 were produced by Kufala & contained burned CD-Rs as well.

If you buy any individual boot from 2008-present, it will be a CD-R. Only the box sets in 2013 & 14 came with silver pressed CDs.

There MAY be a way to get a single show on a silver pressed CD...
We'll have to wait and see if they offer a Tour boxset to know for sure!!

Thanks, Derby. No wonder there's a decline on CD shelf. I forgot why. Have a lot of 2000, '03. Glad I have them. MP3/make my own CDs it is.

Damnit, I miss the pre-Avocado days.

I think another good question is will they release the 2000s as a set silver pressed, wondering since they recently re-released the individual 2000 shows. Of course what I'm really after is a set of affordable silver pressed 2003s.
