Trade: Moline poster for Wrigley FAILE???

cacarr1cacarr1 Posts: 344
Because I was never able to get my hands on the Moline poster...I'd be open to discussing a trade for my Wrigley Faile poster. My Faile is still in the tube from the shows last week, so the Moline poster would have to be in new/like-new condition for me to consider (as I really like the Faile poster!).

I think you're right. I really have no idea if this is a fair trade or not. I do know that I really want the Moline poster though!

I got offered $1,000 for my framed-out Moline ... and turned it down. (I guess that speaks a little to how bad-ass most people think my Moline frame job turned out.)

All Wrigley posters PLUS all Fenway posters, including the Thomas, and you might find a taker – and even then, I'm not too sure.

Moline may have entered that Kong and Crackerjack territory.

Still clueless how a Moline poster is worth more than a lot of 1998 posters. It is a cool poster. I wonder how many people are buying one if they weren't there.

I tried all conventional avenues to get the Moline print- the show, the artist release and here - not a chance.
  • cacarr1cacarr1 Posts: 344
I've even contacted the artist (Ian Williams I believe) and struck out.

Any chance the Moline surpasses Kong in terms of demand? Seems like it has climbed close to/past the Cracker Jack.
  • buck502000buck502000 Posts: 8,951
I think what hinders the Cracker Jack is that that there were 3 other prints that day and Moline is probably going to go down as one of the best PJ shows ever.

The other thing I always presumed that makes Moline much tougher to score is that the iWireless Center is a little barn that holds 12,000. Compare that to the other venues they were playing that tour, and they were mostly 18,000 and up. It might be safe to assume that places with 50 percent more butts in the seats were also getting 50 percent more posters printed.

I can't believe how crazy valuable the Moline print has gotten. I was so lucky to have scored an ap from that sale. Usually I am a day late and a dollar short on the cool PJ items! :)

Best concert I've been to, and two of my friends who were with me agree it was the best show they've been to. The show poster is fine, but its not the best poster I've seen.

Damn. I had one and let it go really cheap. I'm thinking that I asked someone to donate $100 to OYR and I would send them the poster free. So really I actually lost money on the poster. What's wrong with me???

I'm not sure if it was the Moline or the Milwaukee one. Either way I should have kept the Moline, just cause it's a sweet poster. But I didn't go to the show so thought someone else would have wanted it more. But hey Chris, if you think of all the things wrong with me, please forward copy to my wife so then she can understand me better.

I donated my PJ20 billboard poster to raise money on here for a PJ fan in need. No regrets.

I find the prices that some 10C members charge other 10C members for posters (and other memorabilia) here on Lost Dogs to be outrageous..... but to each their own. I gifted my Moline poster to a fellow board member as a follow-up thank you for said member gifting me a Vedder - Red Wings poster years ago when I was just starting to try to locate a few posters that I find attractive. It was a win-win situation :)
