  • I paid just over $80 for Eddies wave pick over a year ago on ebay. Don't see it too much any more. Shouldn't take to terribly long to locate. Do you think other members take care of each other with trades/ requests better or the same as ebay moneywise?

that's what I was thinking- I think picks are like autographs, why pay for them when you can get them yourself????

Us lower seniority people (351,000!!!) cant get anywhere near the stage for one :( Thats why I am resorting to asking the kind board people :)
  • on the 06 tour one of mikes picks bounced off my idiot friends head, if you stick around after shows you could really clear up, especially around mikes side, picks all over the floor, does ed throw out picks that much? at the shows iv been to ed or stone dont seem to throw many into the crowd

I've seen PJ 5 times and Eddie once. Not a chance of me being anywhere close enough to get one. Unfortunately, Ebay is my way of obtaining alot of the vinyl and collectable memorabilia because I live close to nowhere. I've gone to hundreds of shows since 1990 and I've managed to get Layne Staleys autograph, all the Toadies to autograph a CD back in 1995, a drumstick from Sponge's drummer and Johnette Napolatinos autograph while singing for Pretty and Twisted.

I just meant that they mean more when you get it from the artist themselves. Good luck with your request. Any luck yet?

ed doesn't usually "throw them out", he generally gives them directly to someone. stone and jeff almost never, and if they do it's usually at the end of the show....

  • As for the PJams picks, I have 4 Mike picks, 1 EV pick, 1 Stone (possibly fake- ebay) and 1 Jeff pick (Tone cd).

At the Dublin 2000 gig I spotted Mikes pick on the floor after the gig.
I got the EV pick in Lisbon 06 when his guitar tech threw it out after the gig and it hit me in the chest.

Mikes have been handed to me in lisbon (front row mike side) and also 1 from Heineken helen.

...And thats the end of that chapter.

More than I can express! I had a Ministry shirt on and Layne had a Ministry hat on after the show at Bogarts in Cincinnati and it was one of those moments that was awesome. I was able to talk to him for a few minutes! My ticket is mounted and framed along with a 7" picture disc for Down In A Hole!

I grabbed the `new edition' of the dogs pic at the Shadow show in Ballard a couple months back. Slightly different pose of the dogs, no mention of 'mike' or 'mccready' like the first version of the pic.

Don't know which one you have.
