agreed. Look what just happened, I'm shocked more artists don't do it.
Exactly, throw them up for these prices and if they don't sell, but most will as proven today, 6 months down the road have a "sale" and they will sell the rest.

I've wondered that too, I'm too busy trying to checkout quickly to even consider posting here.

Probably the same people buying these for the outrageous prices are the same people I hear in the merch lines talking about how they are "funding" their next show or their next purchase with the stuff they are waiting in line to buy.

My bad, I meant the people paying the $500+ on EBay for the prints. I think Faile is smart for charging what they are, I would do the same and if I was at this show, I would be trying for one myself on their site. Really cool print.

This print reminds me of a special weekend I had in Chicago - mine as well have it signed. Plus no tubing or Line waiting either. ;)

My wife wouldn't be happy with me feeling this way, but it was such a great weekend I feel the same, it reminds me of the weekend and so I don't mind spending some extra cash on it.

I was only after the variant though... I don't mind paying extra for those.

My wife gives me a green light for 2 reasons: she was there too, and she didn't have to wait in line :)

The way people have been talking about this on the boards, I'm stunned it took over an hour...I guess price really does matter.

Also having them sit idle in the checkout process, while people decided if they wanted to pull the trigger or not, hurt the time it took them to sell out.

It was a tough decision for me because that's second highest price I have ever paid for a print. And it was probably a tough call for most because guys like Sperry, EMEK, Welker, Taylor, Klausen, and even Ames all sell for their AP's for $100 or less for the most part.

Ames does it...I'm kinda glad these artists are upping their prices. Keeps the amateur flippers at bay!

Had it in the cart for a while. Just couldn't bring myself to it. Really hoping the 10c has a drop on these.

What to do? Jump the gun tomorrow, or wait to see if 10c drops the poster? I am torn. Really like the poster and regret not getting it at the show, but to drop $200 is going to hurt a bit.

You can still get it on eBay under $75 if you try.

Got it for $62 including shipping yesterday.
Checked eBay earlier today and cheapest I saw was 110 plus shipping.
    Keep looking....good luck.
One on ebay right now. Current bid $70

You should going forward, why should the flippers get the money and not the artists who actually put in the work.
