this is the best version of black... there is no better version. im sorry, but if you think there is a better version you are simply wrong.

    benaroya black is brilliant, but it has no "we belong together" tag. thus it is void from any "best black" discussion.
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    actually...i really dislike the reverb (caused by the venue?) in the whole show...and IMO Eddie's voice is not at it's best here...nevermind, there've been a couple threads discussing about the best version(s) and I'm still recovering one good version after another...BUT so far my favourites are

    Madrid 07

    Ottawa 05

    ...and a few more...i really love the development that the audience takes over the high notes longer and longer over the time and Eddie sings so many new touching tags..."we don't belong together", "we didn't belong together"...Mikes solos are getting better and better...I was in Dusseldorf and it blew me away...it will get better and better...i'm pretty afraid of my own personal future but Im really looking forward to the forthcoming versions of "Black" :)
