Any one know the attendance figures for 2016 Wrigley 1? It was my first stadium show so I don't have a good reference point. Seemed like it could have been 60k+ if the regular capacity of Wrigley is 41k. I've been to the Indy 500 and the Kentucky Derby, but this seemed much more dense do to the venue size.
Fantastic show. I've always been leery of stadium shows b/c I am a bit of a sound nut, but this was beyond expectation. Probably ruined me for all future outdoor shows!

That guy who bought 10 on cassette when it released but took over 20 years to get his ass to a show...

Capacity of Wrigley is 41k, but you have to remember that the bleachers behind the stage were completely emptySt. Paul-2014, Wrigley 1-20160

True. As were the Right/Left field bleachers. Are the outfield seats 10k in seating?Post edited by RH658469 onThat guy who bought 10 on cassette when it released but took over 20 years to get his ass to a show...

That would be a good estimate I think. So if you assume all the field seats plus GA was could fill up all the bleachers total attendance was probably around 40k. I don't know where you could find an official number.St. Paul-2014, Wrigley 1-20160

so which one holds more for a concert: fenway or wrigley?I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

A quick search on the Google machine finds that concert capacity is just over 41,0000

Yeah, but that is a general number. Different shows have different setups. Apparently Springsteen has the venue record of over 84k combined in his last two shows there. Wonder if these two shows might set a new record.Bentleyspop said:A quick search on the Google machine finds that concert capacity is just over 41,000

very true. just like: The band’s Fenway Park shows broke attendance records with 72,722 tickets sold over the course of two nights (including the #1 all-time paid attendance record of 36,621 on 8/7!).RH658469 said:

a hell of a lot of bands have sold out fenway...i guess there's just ways of getting more seats on the field.
36,101 for night 1 (even though it was sold out) and 36,621 for night 2.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
In case anyone still still cares: 83,478 over two nights. Looks like the Boss is still the Boss.
