Wrigley #1 GA - what time did you get in line and what was your proximity to the stage?

Had nosebleeds for night 1. By the time I got to my seats around 7 the GA section looked completely full, from the stage all the way back to the first rows of the seated section. The only space appeared to be on the sides.

    Was crushing against back rail....too many trying to walk across to exits...

    Wondering this as well. Was hoping to pick up tickets around 5 and then get in line about the time gates open. We don't need to be right up front, but hoping to not be stuck in the very back or on the side.

    GA was stuffed tried to leave to hit restroom got to back no room to exit so just went back to my spot. Usually back of GA has enough room for an aisle to exit.

    In line at 3:30 or so. Was about 5-6 back on the corner of the stage by Mike.

    Omg. There are really no words. I'm still overcome and trying to relive every moment. I know you all get and don't think I'm nuts. This is my last show of the tour. Have to get home to the kiddos. Unbelievable pj year. Post Pearl Jam Tour Depression is about to hit hard. So grateful.

    Show was awesome, so im not complaining. But we took a look at the ga line at 530 when the doors opened, and it was thousands of people deep. Stretched multiple blocks, and we said fuck it, lets just go to the bar and end up where we end up. Waltzed in around 730 and GA was mostly filled, so we were on the far side. The back of GA was smashed.

    8:40 the night before, 60 people in line by then. Had a choice of the side edges of the rail or 2nd row center. Pretty sure others got 2nd row and got in line around 6-7am, maybe even later.

    Lined up at 10:30, ended up about 8 rows back center. The people around me said that they'd just waltzed in from a different gate, which I thought was a bit shitty, but what can you do. Gives me hope that I can get there after work tomorrow and still grab a decent spot!

    Yikes. Different entrances for GA and only one line? If that's true that's not cool. I am not into the line myself, but I respect fair play, and opening secondary entrances for GA ain't fair. I wonder what would cause that? My guess is poor communication amongst security and staff at the venue.

    There were a few issues. They split up the GA line, and had the first part of the line go through one gate with only two workers. The people standing behind us got to go in through the gate at Waveland/Sheffield where there were way more staff, so they ended up closer.

    PLUS, the people immediately around me said that they were let in through an entirely different gate altogether, and hadn't waited at all. I wish I'd asked which gate so I can be prepared for tomorrow.

    I'm trying to determine if I can do GA. I think I got to give it a try. Probably won't eat or drink anything after 1 PM. :)

    My cut off is 3:30 for food/liquid. Last pee at 4:30 bc they start moving the line around after that. Water gets passed around up front. I don't drink until encore break. Haha. It's my system and it works. I have enough energy to get me through and don't have to pee until after. The key is to put food and water in your car/hotel BEFORE the show bc you'll be starving and thirsty after. I also never drink alcohol or smoke so I don't have that to deal with. I'm done for this year.

    When is the next tour??
